WE are delighted to be recording a new album for the Christian band “Curios”. This band is a very wonderful and talented group of young people from Statesville NC.

We have recently added a DDA DMR-12 recording console here at Audio Works! This console was purchased from a studio in Nashville and is a 56-channel British-built analog console designed for the ultimate Mixdown. This is a legendary console and has over 20 gold & platinum records created on it. The mic-pre’s have that classic clean character, British E.Q. sound that is very musical. It has a very warm, rich sound and we are excited to make it the heart of our studio.

Here at Audio Works Sound Studio things are really heating up for summer! We are currently working on a new album with Bobby Ray Bittle and the Bobby Ray Bittle Band! Bobby is an awesome country singer/songwriter from the Charlotte area. Also, we recently had the privilege of working with ESPN basketball analyst and former Duke basketball star Jay Bilas and recording his audio book “Toughness”.

Here at Audio Works Sound Studio,we’ve just finished doing some recording for MTV and their hit TV show “Made”. We thoroughly enjoyed working with their professional and courteous staff and we are looking forward to working on future projects with them.

We’re also putting the finishing touches on a new album for Caleb’s Bridge, a very talented Gospel band from Mocksville N.C. and Pushh, a classic rock band from Charlotte N.C. We’ve just finished laying down tracks for “Nuances”, a 16 member acapella group from Davidson College just north of Charlotte N.C..

Recently, we had the pleasure of recording some new material for David Young. David is from Philadelphia and is one of the most successful independent artists of all time. Grammy nominated for Best Instrumental Album, David Young has sold over a million CD’s and has performed for Barbara Streisand, Elizabeth Taylor, Guns & Roses and Paul McCartney, who started a standing ovation for him at one of his performances. We are looking forward to working with David on future projects.
